My Thoughts
When the body of Simone Preston's ex-boyfriend is found dead
and hung upside down on a statue that she carved, she becomes the number one
suspect in Detective Dane Reynolds homicide investigation. As the investigation continues, sparks develop
between Dane and Simone and things really heat up between the two. With a killer on the loose, and twist and turns
you never see coming, this one will keep you on the edge of your seat!
Going Once, Going Twice,
Dead was fast-paced and the plot flowed effortlessly. The chemistry
between Simone and Dane is hot, and the mystery surrounding the killer was a
surprise to say the least. Fans of romantic suspense will love this
one. Ms. Drennen has written an intriguing and solid
story that will keep the reader enthralled and entertained with great
characters and sizzling romance. This
was a great start to what looks like will be an amazing series!
My rating: 5 out of 5 stars
