Time is running out for
Kenna Blake.
Every day the wraith
teases the strings of Kenna’s self-control, feeding his own sick desires with
her inner turmoil. When he finally pushes her over the edge, her grip on that
control slips, allowing the succubus nature she’s fought so hard to subdue shine
through.
The waning moon brings
with it little comfort for her future. Randal’s disappearance still haunts her.
And magic lurks around every corner, threatening to weave Kenna further into a
web of secrets and lies. But when a new spell is revealed, bringing with it a
glimmer of hope, Kenna learns she might just be able to become the hero of her
own dark fairy tale

For over a year (gosh,
has it been that long?), I have been fully invested in Jennifer Snyder’s Succubus Kiss series and I have loved
every single minute of it - except the cliffhanger endings the author loved to
torture us with…those I could have
done without! With each installment, I literally put life on hold so that
I can immerse myself in Kenna’s world and ‘watch’ the drama unfold with every
turn of the page. In Summon, the dramatic conclusion to this
epic series, readers finally get some closure and some much needed answers to
questions that have plagued us during this year of traveling along this journey
with Kenna as she comes to grips with discovering she is a Succubus then dealing
with the horrible wraith that is bound and determined to drain her of
everything she is.
As you can tell from the
cover, Kenna has become fully awaken and her wings have emerged. Sadly,
this came with a price for one unfortunate soul and Kenna had a really hard
time dealing with it. Of course, the wraith was beyond excited because it
got what it wanted at the time….control.
The clock is still ticking for Kenna as she awaits her fate. Will she finally find peace from the torment
she has endured? Will the wraith finally
get was it deserves? Will Kenna finally get the HEA she dreams of with Randal?
And most importantly of all, who the heck infected Kenna with the wraith? All these answers and so much more are
revealed in Summon and some of the
answers might just shock you!
I can’t even begin to
tell you how bittersweet it was for me to begin the last book in this
series. On one hand I wanted to hurry up
and devour it but yet on the other hand I wanted to take my time and savor
every last word. Summon was everything I have come to expect from this series plus
so much more. I will miss this series immensely
but I finish it as a very satisfied reader.
With compelling characters and an intriguing story-line, I found this a
very fun and addictive series that was truly incredible. The Succubus
Kiss series is the perfect choice for any paranormal fan and really
showcases the talent of this amazing author. If you haven't guessed it already, I highly recommend not only this book but the entire series - it will not disappoint.

Interview with Kenna Blake
1.
How much do you think you’ve changed from when you were first introduced to
us?
Oh my. Um. Where to
start! Everything about me has changed to be honest. I've learned about my
strengths (dealing with all the crap the wraith put me through!) and my
weaknesses (yellow auras!). Even my body has changed! I mean, I've got freaking
wings now! I still have my conscience though, I'll always have that. Always.
2.
If you could choose to be any other paranormal creature, what would you be?
A cloaking witch! Not
only did the entire process and magic involved intrigue me, but the money too!
It would be fun and profitable! Well, fun until you were cleaning up someone's
murder mess. I'd rather not think of that though...
3.
If you could choose for you and Randall to be completely human, would you? And
why?
No. We're better as
we are. Randal has taught me to accept what I am, and I'm grateful for that.
I'm content with what I am, with myself, because of him. Besides, I don’t
think I could go back to being a human knowing all I do. I was SO blind to the
Supernatural world. It’s scary to think about actually.
4.
Do you regret meeting Randall?
Absolutely not. I
know there are some who would say that none of the wraith crap would have
happened if I hadn’t met him, but they forget that I wouldn’t have been able to
find the love of my life then either. All I wanted was someone I could be with
who liked me for me, not because of my Succubus allure. Nothing that happened
was Randal’s fault. I don’t blame him at all. Some females are just...psychotic.
5. If you could write your own story, what would be the perfect ending?
As cheesy as it
sounds, I couldn't write one any better than the one I was already handed.
