Book Review ~ Fall from Grace (Resurrection Book 4) by Elizabeth Davies

Fall from Grace
(Resurrection Book 4)
by Elizabeth Davies

Eternal life is far too long when the man you love doesn’t love you.

Grace has been resurrected. She’s a vampire, an apex predator who will live for millennia. But that’s the problem; she’s no different to any other vampire. The one thing which fascinated Roman – her ability to time-travel – died when Grace did.

As Roman becomes more distant and preoccupied, Grace seeks something or someone to ease her loneliness.

In this exciting installment, Grace has been resurrected and attempting to adjust to her new life and everything that comes with being a vampire.  Everything is new to her, from finding her next ‘meal’, to coming to grips that she will live for a very long time.  All that would be great, but the one person who she thought would be there to guide her through it all, Roman, has become quite distant and immersed in his work and spending a lot of time alongside his sexy fellow scientist.  Believing that Roman has abandoned her for someone new, Grace seeks out other activities and companionship to ease her loneliness and bitterness at Roman’s apparent betrayal.  In addition to the couple trying to figure things out and work on their communication skills, The Brotherhood is hard on their heels and the world is about to face the deadliest pandemic it has ever witnessed.

Fall from Grace is another spectacular installment of the Resurrection series by Elizabeth Davies.  I have followed this series from the start, and each book becomes better and better.  The story flowed smoothly and seamlessly and kept me intrigued throughout.  It truly was phenomenal – from the exceptional writing to how everything just seemed to fit together perfectly.  The main characters are all well-developed and the plot was so intriguing that I couldn’t for the life of me put the book down until the end.  Fall from Grace is definitely not a standalone and the reader will benefit from reading the previous novels to understand exactly how all the pieces fit together.  I really hope that there is another book in the works, because this reader needs more of Grace and Roman!

Overall, this series is one of my all-time favorites as it is the perfect combination for romance, paranormal, and suspense.  This series is definitely a must read and one that I highly recommend to any paranormal romance fan.  5 well deserving stars for Fall from Grace!

Elizabeth Davies was born and raised in South Wales more years ago than she cares to remember. She lived in England for nearly two decades but returned to her roots when she felt the mountains of her youth calling to her, and hiking in her beloved Brecon Beacons is now one of the joys in her life. When she is not working as a full time secretary, Elizabeth loves spending time with her family, hates doing necessary chores, and tries to fit in writing whenever she can. She has published several books: the Resurrection trilogy, beginning with "State of Grace", continuing with "Amazing Grace", and ending with "Sanctifying Grace", "The Spirit Guide and most recently - The Medium Path. She is currently working on another paranormal romance set in Wales.

She is also seriously addicted to chocolate.
