Book Review ~ Find Me (Corrupted Hearts #3) by Tiffany Snow

Find Me
(Corrupted Hearts #3)
by Tiffany Snow

Expected publication: September 19th 2017 by Montlake Romance

As the head of the government’s secret Vigilance spy program, computer guru China Mack already has her hands full when her billionaire boyfriend, Jackson Cooper, asks for one of them in marriage.

Thrown for a loop by the sudden proposal, China’s usually well-ordered life takes another hit when someone tries to assassinate the president. Even that comes with a shocking twist: the primary suspect is none other than her ex-partner, Clark Slattery. With nowhere else to turn, the sexy loner needs China’s help and expertise. Clark has linked the assassination attempt to a failed secret operation undertaken six years ago—and a deadly cover-up that’s putting the leader of the free world in the crosshairs. But the president isn’t the only one in harm’s way.

Now, China is going to have to dig deep for information that’s beyond even her clearance. And what she discovers may have far-reaching consequences for her life and everyone else in it.

Find Me is the third installment of the Corrupted Hearts series and like the previous novels in this series, the action and romance starts off with a bang and never ends.  The story was completely addicting and impossible to put down. In Find Me, there are shocking revelations, a marriage proposal, and a killer with a huge grudge out for retribution.  Seriously, there was never a dull moment in this story and it kept me on the edge of my seat, biting my nails and holding my breath with every turn of the page.  Find Me was everything I knew it would be plus so much more!  No other story has ever had me laughing, crying, cringing, or gasping as much as Find Me did.

If you loved the Kathleen Turner series, then this is a definite MUST READ!  This series has it all, from romance, to thrilling action and with enough twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time trying to catch your breath. Tiffany Snow has outdone herself with this installment of the Corrupted Heart series which kept me engaged throughout and craving more.   I already find myself desperately needing the next installment of this highly suspenseful and captivating series.

I highly recommend this 5-star read to anyone who loves a fast-paced, action-filled romantic suspense that will leave you breathless and needing more.

Just a few weeks ago, computer prodigy China Mack’s typical night in involved Endor Star Wars pajamas and a sensible bedtime. Now she’s dating gorgeous tech guru Jackson Cooper—one of Forbes’s Top Ten Eligible Billionaires—much to the Twitterverse’s delight.

Turns out, going from socially inept hermit to poster girl for geek chic has its challenges. China’s relationship gets even more complicated because her role heading the top-secret Vigilance program—where she’s partnered with Superman clone Clark Slattery—makes her a target. And when ruthless businessman Simon Lu plans to co-opt Vigilance software to blackmail government and military employees, he’ll need China’s cooperation—willing or otherwise.

But not every enemy is so easily identified. Some hide in plain sight, in very high places, and mistaking foe for friend could be the last mistake China ever makes…

For my friends and people who follow my reviews, it shouldn’t come as surprise that I am a HUGE Tiffany Snow fan.  She is one of those authors that I automatically one-click without even finding out what the book is about – I just know without a doubt that it is going to be astounding.  Ms. Snow’s latest release Break Me was everything I knew it would be plus so much more!  This reader was not disappointed – at all.

Break Me is the second installment of the Corrupted Hearts series by Tiffany Snow and like her previous novels, the action and romance starts off with a bang and never ends.  The story was completely addicting and I couldn’t put it down even for a second. To say that I loved everything about this installment would be a major understatement.

What really makes this story spectacular is the main character China.  She’s insanely smart, socially awkward, has some major OCD issues and is just as cute as a button – and she seems to find herself in a huge bit of trouble that only the two leading men of the story can save her from. China is currently dating Jackson Cooper and I really love that their together, but since Tiffany Snow is the queen of love triangles, I just can’t stop thinking that somewhere down the line sexy Clark Slattery will win China’s heart – which would make me very giddy. Not that I don’t love Jackson, but there is just something about Clark that I find extremely appealing.

Fans of the Kathleen Turner series will love the final chapter which caught me off guard, but in a good way and I was pleasantly surprised and can’t wait to see where this twist in the story takes the reader next.

Tiffany Snow has outdone herself with this incredible series, and I highly recommend this 5-star read to anyone who loves a fast-paced, action-filled romantic suspense that is both captivating and engaging, leaving the reader craving more.

Brilliant, quirky twenty-three-year-old China Mack is totally satisfied with her carefully ordered, data-driven life. A computer prodigy who landed a coveted programming job at the cutting-edge tech company Cysnet before even graduating from MIT, China is happiest when following her routine: shower before coffee, pizza only on Mondays, bedtime at ten thirty sharp.

But then things start to get a little…unpredictable.

First Jackson Cooper—Cysnet’s rich, gorgeous, genius CEO—assigns China to a dangerous and highly classified project for a government defense contractor. Her sixteen-year-old runaway niece suddenly arrives in town, begging to move in with China. And then there’s her sexy but oddly unsettling new neighbor, Clark…

Quickly the Cysnet assignment becomes disconcerting—and then downright scary—as key staffers turn up dead. China suspects she’s being followed and isn’t sure whom she can trust. For the first time ever, she’ll have to follow her instincts, rather than logic, if she’s going to survive.

For my friends and people who follow my reviews, it shouldn’t come as surprise that I am a HUGE Tiffany Snow fan.  She is one of those authors that I automatically one-click without even finding out what the book is about – I just know without a doubt that it is going to be amazing.  Ms. Snow’s latest release Follow Me was everything I knew it would be plus so much more!  This reader was not disappointed – at all.

In Follow Me, the reader is introduced to perhaps the coolest fictional character ever – China Mack.  China is a twenty-three year old computer genius who has some major OCD tendencies. Every aspect of her life is planned out – from pizza delivery every Monday night, catching up on her TV shows on Tuesday night in a precise order and every night, bedtime is at 10:30 sharp.  There are NO exceptions to her routine whatsoever.  The only real hitch in her life is her inability to keep her goldfish the ‘Doctor’ alive which she constantly replaces with new ‘Doctors’. Her life is turned upside down though when her teenage niece comes to live with her who totally throws her routine out the window.  Then to make matters worse, her super-hot boss (who she secretly desires), Jackson Cooper, assigns her to a highly classified project that comes full of danger and the risk of death.  Then to top it all off, her niece sets her up on a date with their sexy new neighbor who is full of mystery and secrets. Yes, China’s life is far from routine and less predictable than ever before, but despite the suspected murders of her teammates and then finding herself running for her life, love is in the air for this young prodigy and sparks ignite.

To say that I loved this book would be a major understatement.  Tiffany Snow has written a top-notch suspenseful novel that had everything that I crave to read.  Follow Me had a very intriguing story-line that set the stage for a well-developed story with so many twists and turns that I could not put the book down until I read every last word.  I can’t wait to see where this story goes and I will be eagerly waiting for the next installment of this spectacular series.  If you have yet to experience the awesome talent of Tiffany Snow, then Follow Me is a great introduction in which to witness the creativity this author has to weave an amazing story that will keep you engaged throughout and craving more.

I highly recommend this 5 star read to anyone who loves a fast-paced, action-filled romantic suspense that will keep you guessing and leaving you with the desire to need more.

Jackson looked quizzical for a moment, then turned and headed for his office. “Follow me,” he tossed over his shoulder, and I rushed to obey.
I felt eyes on me as I walked. Jackson usually only met with the managers, not the staff directly. I reported to a guy named Brad who happened to be on vacation this week. I supposed that was why I was heading into Jackson’s office instead of Brad. Whatever it was, it obviously couldn’t wait.
“Have a seat,” he said, gesturing to the seating arrangement in his office. His desk stood to one side, diagonal to the windows that lined the wall. A sofa and two chairs were arranged facing each other on the opposite side, which was where he’d pointed.
Okay then.
Sofa or chair . . . sofa or chair . . .
I stood in indecision, frantically going through the pros and cons of each seat inside my head. The chair would be good but it faces the windows and there’s a glare. I’ll be squinting. Sofa is better but what if he sits beside me, then I’ll be craning my neck to see him and my feet won’t touch the floor. The other chair is in a better location but it’s higher than the sofa and if he sits on the sofa then I’ll be above him and that may be insulting since technically I’m not “above” him—
“China,” he interrupted my train of thought, brushing past me and taking the chair I’d been leaning toward choosing. “Have a seat.”
That was a command. I could recognize the tone. So I plunked myself down in the nearest spot, which put me on the sofa. Except I’d misjudged the softness of the cushions and I sank, putting me even lower than I thought I’d be, as I faced him. I forced a smile.
“Cushy couch.”
Okay, that was something a teenager might say. Not a grown woman with degrees piled behind my name and several years of experience under my belt. My smile turned into a grimace. I started fiddling with my pen and shoved my glasses farther up my nose.
“Brad would usually be the one to hold this discussion,” he began, “but since he’s out of the office right now, I thought I’d handle it.”
My palms began to sweat and I went cold. This sounded like the beginning of a conversation I wasn’t going to like. I searched my brain, trying to think of what I could’ve done to bring about a disciplinary meeting with the CEO.
“If this is about that argument between me and Toby last week, then I want you to know it’s resolved. He dinged my Mustang and refused to admit it, but when I had the paint samples compared, they totally matched.”
Jackson gave me an odd look. Okay, that wasn’t it then.
“And I’m not the one who keeps stealing Janine’s Diet Coke from the fridge,” I blurted. “It’s Megan in accounting. I caught her but she swore me to secrecy because she saw me borrow one of Blake’s Kit Kat bars that he keeps in the freezer.” I took a breath. “Borrow’s not really the right word, I guess, since I ate it. But I did replace it the next day.” I grimaced. “And ate it again. But I really am going to bring him more. I swear.”
Still nothing. His eyes were a bit wider though. Surely that couldn’t be a good sign?
“And I’m not the one that keeps adding h-o-g to Liam’s nameplate.” The guy’s last name was Hedge. Really, he was just asking for that one.
“Or—”
“Stop!”
I clamped my lips shut.
Jackson cleared his throat. “While I appreciate your willingness to, um, clear your conscience . . .” he paused, “none of those things are why I brought you in here.”
“Then why did you?”
“I was getting to that, before your impromptu confessional.”
Oh. I shut up again.
